COVID-19 Guidelines
Sunday Morning Worship Services
- To aid in appropriate social distancing, please remain together as a family unit before, during, and after the service.
- Please do not attend if you are sick, have a fever, or a cough; it is recommended not to attend if you are high risk.
- Attending the service assumes the consent of you and your family to the following liability waiver: COVID-19 is highly contagious and is known to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. By attending First Baptist Church of Gunnison, you agree to abide by the procedures established by the church to protect attendees and staff, and you voluntarily assume the risk that you and/or your family may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 either at the church, in the church worship service, or in the nursery or Sunday School. You agree to assume all the risks of attendance and participation for you and your family, and you waive any liability against the church and any other parties.
Safety Preparations/Precautions
- The entire church will be cleaned as normal.
- Sanitized before each service: door knobs, hand railings, office equipment, & other high-contact surfaces.
- Hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and masks will be made available. Masks are welcome, but not required.
- Please enter and exit through the front doors; unused areas of the church will be closed off.
- Please only care and watch over the children in your own home. Please help us mitigate the mingling of children in the church building.
- An offering box will be located near the info table for those that wish to give at the church. Online giving is also available at our website via Pushpay.
These guidelines will stay in place until we are confident they are no longer necessary. Thank you so much for helping with these details as we meet together on Sunday.
